Brasil won! woo-hoo.
We, Singaporeans were exposed to English soccer since young.
So, I must admit that a part of me was somewhat crushed
That they didnt qualify for the semi-finals.
Having said that, I was glad that Brasil survived.
What can I say? I have great admiration for their tightness as a team.
The magic that makes you cling onto your seat as they swiftly attack.
Their love for the game and not for other materialistic matters. (blink blink! -money-)
Their artistic footwork and flawless dribbles simply amaze me.
Some said that the brasilian magic has died out.
But not me. I dont think so. But thats only my opinion :)
Congrats. Thunderous applause. Viva Brasil.

Had a talk with my siblings late last night.
It all started when Liza asked an intriguing question.
"How come guys don't approach us anymore?"
With that, assumptions and opinions were thrown back.
One of which was that we have bitchy and cant-be-bothered-about-guys looks.
My bro entered the room. And we decided to hear a guy's prespective.
Vainly, we asked, "AD what do your friends say about us when they see us?"
Phwarr, he shot a shocking revelation at me.
He answered, " All my friends say Kakak Liz is pretty. But no comments on Kakak Lyd".
Jokingly, I replied, "Tom, you call all your friends, I pakai bedak banyak-banyak kasi lawar,
baru tau" muahhaaha..
But then it started, all 4 of them telling me about my appearance.
Something that never crossed my mind.
They told me of the different ways to improvise myself and about how others might see me.
Wow. phwarrr. information overload.
They told me that my cant-be-bothered attitude and
the i-want-a-guy-to-love-me-for-who-i-am-not-how-i-look attitude was of no help.
They said I am not vain enough and I dont take care of my outlook.
They actually made some sense. Never tot that anyone was capable of swaying my attitude.
But its true what they said. Attraction is important. Its not a bimbo-tic theory.
Thats how humans are. Everyone loves pretty and beautiful things.
So, its okay to alter or improvise yourself for your own benefit.
Guess it scared me a little.
Reason being, I've always learnt to love myself for the way I am.
And I've always thought that I'll be true to myself and not be bothered about others.
Thats my problem. Others do matter (of course not all la).
But I'm not the only one on this earth!
I'll do some stuffs to improve or try and carry myself better.
That wont change my personality, will jus change my appearance.
And not drastically but subtly.
One more thing, it can never hurt to look pretty.
People appreciate and want pretty things.
See it as shallow, see it as vain, but it is only HUMAN.

6 days of absence from the blog.
My comp was invaded!
My siblings and a game called The Sims took control.
Went to Sentosa on Tuesday(18 June) for a tan.
Managed to get one. Enjoyed myself.
Felt like becoming a beach bum.
Full admiration for the sun, the sand and the sea.
Lovely, simply lovely.
Im bored of my current lifestyle.
A bummer is what I have become.
Its good to bum when you are loaded.
But broke? Well, take my advise, DONT.
I sorta feel useless. -sigh-
This time round, I really need to find a job
Think my hp is gonna be cut off again soon.
Warnings came in all forms to pay up by 21 June.
Where to fish out the money I dont know.
